Dana L. Tompkins is Managing Partner for Tompkins & Peters CPAs, P.C. Her over 25 years of experience in advisory, tax, auditing, accounting and financial analysis allow her to provide uniquely specialized services to a variety of clientele.
Ms. Tompkins provides a wide variety of consulting services to our clients. Her specialties include strategic business planning, business valuations, tax planning, profit and efficiency maximization, accounting software utilization, and internal control system design and implementation.
Tax Planning and Preparation
Ms. Tompkins has provided meaningful and valued tax planning and business consulting services for complex entities of all types. She has the knowledge and experience necessary to prepare income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, retirement plans and trusts. In addition, her experience in tax compliance (federal and state), tax processes, income tax minimization, as well as tax research and opinions, allows her to successfully negotitiate with the Internal Revenue Service on behalf of her clients.
Forensic Accounting Services
Ms. Tompkins has analyzed damages and performed financial accounting and economic studies utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) with independence, objectivity, and consistency. Damage studies prepared for clients have included:

Ms. Tompkins has provided accounting analysis, expert witness testimony, and consulting support services such as Case Strategy and Discovery Issues, to attorneys during legal negotiations and/or trials.
